| Welcome to First Baptist Church - Weslaco, a friendly fellowship of believers that exists for you.
We want you to know that we care about you and your family. Our desire as a church is to offer any assistance we can toward your spiritual and personal growth. For those investigating the claims of Jesus Christ we offer creative weekend services in which God's Word is explained in a practical, relevant manner. And for those who already enjoy a personal relationship with Christ, we also provide opportunities in the mid-week Bible Studies, small groups, and various ministries for you to worship the Lord and deepen your spiritual roots.
Our ministries and programs are based on our four objectives:
Exaltation. Having been forgiven by Jesus Christ, we seek to worship Him, both privately and collectively as a church.
Edification. Through a solid program of Bible teaching, discipleship and small groups, we strive to assist each other in the progress of Christian growth.
Evangelism. We want to tell others about God's plan of salvation and the exciting life that He wants for each of His followers.
Extension. We attempt to reflect God's loving and caring nature so that Christ's ministry of compassion can be extened to all those in need.
We want to serve you and your family through our misistries in any way we can, whether the needs are spiritual, relational, emotional, or physical.
At First Baptist, you matter to us for one crucial reason: Because you matter to God!!
