Bluff Creek Ranch's mountain bike trail is a well marked, single-track loop of 10 miles. Direction is one way, with the blue ribbons kept on your right. Much of the trail is under a canopy of trees, and the terrain is sandy and gravelly. There is quite a bit of sharp turns, short descents through creek run-off areas and quick climbs out. While the trail is relatively flat, there is a bluff running across the back area that the trail goes up and down several times. Gas Pass, and Mule Trace are serious downhills that give riders a good challenge.
Overall the trail is an intermediate level ride. There are many areas that beginners do well with, and for the expert the single direction trail becomes a fast one. The Nolan's will orient new riders to the trail and make recommendations according to their skills.
