The Mirage Turf System was introduced in September, 1998 by Dale G. Potts. Dale is the creator of the world's first remote-controlled, miniature Blimp-Cam. The Blimp-Cam product is being used throughout the world to capture aerial photos and live broadcasts of events. It has been used by several major networks, including ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN.
Dale and his Blimp-Cam have been seen on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, at the 1996 & 1998 Super Bowl, TNT Atlanta Braves Baseball Games and at the Cleveland Cavalier NBA games.
An avid golfer himself, Dale moved from the Midwest to Scottsdale, Arizona, where the weather permitted him to enjoy this sport virtually year round. Shortly after the move, Dale installed a real "bent-grass" putting green in his own backyard.
