The New Braunfels Women's Chamber of Commerce (NBWCC) was established in 1996 in New Braunfels, Texas. The NBWCC is a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Any individual eighteen years or older, business, association, government agency, or non-profit organization interested in furthering the purposes of the NBWCC shall be eligible to apply for membership.
Being a member of the New Braunfels Women's Chamber of Commerce has many benefits. The NBWCC works to advance the economic prosperity and general welfare of women in business and the professions, offers a variety of networking possibilities on a monthly basis, holds "Rising Stars," promotional ribbon cuttings for member businesses, and offers special pricing from businesses for members.
The NBWCC sponsors The Clothes Closet to provide women and men with professional attire for job interviews and offers scholarships for women of all ages planning to major in business in college or at the university.
The philosophical intent of the NBWCC is to integrate women and small business into the mainstream of all economic and political achievement and to increase awareness of the positive benefits of developing equal partnerships with women in existing political and economic power structure
