Her books have been translated in 5 languages (see three of them below), recommended by Time Magazine and used as reference books in corporations and universities.
Donna has been a member of the National Speakers Association since 1991 and received her CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) designation in 1998. She is one of approximatley 160 women internationally designated as Certified Speaking Professionals.
Donna was approached about writing the Professional Networking for Dummies book in 2000 after she thought she had written all the networking books she would ever want to right. However, she felt honored to be asked, valued the opportunity be a "Dummies" author, and as a result her book was published in 2001. Just this year, the Professional Networking for Dummies book was translated in Dutch and she is already receiving emails from Dutch readers who are implementing her networking principles.
Other Translations:
The Power Networking book has been a consistent seller for over 10 years with one revision and numerous new printings. The Chinese translation of Power Networking is testament to the universality of the power of people connecting and networking in all cultures around the world.
Donna first realized that certain phrases and stories that she uses in her presentations and programs are specific to the American culture when she spoke to a group of Russian business owners through a translator. This also became apparent when the British translation of the Power Networking book was published so as to be more in sync with British terminology.
