Last year, the Houston Chronicle voted ScreamWorld the #1 haunted house in Houston. That was only fitting and proper. But, as they say in Texas, “you ain’t seen nuthin’ yet!!!”

Recognized by the industry throughout the country for the large number of cutting edge technology scares in its maze, The Haunted Hotel will will buckle your knees with fright more times this year than ever before.
The Edge of Darkness is a throwback to more traditional times. It, too, has more engagements than last year and many new scenes that ScreamWorld’s crazed minds have designed to drive you insane. The maze is not built for those with claustrophobic tendencies, even if it were possible to see in all of the dark or dimly lit nooks and crannies. Negotiating this maze is suspenseful enough without the sudden frights that confront you from out of nowhere.
This year’s 3D Adventure/Scare is ALL NEW and visually, it is absolutely stunning. You will have to see it and be a part of it to believe it. ScreamWorld’s insane minds became lucid long enough to call it “Movie Monsters in 3D”.
As you wend your way through this maze (you may be tempted to crawl) you’ll find that you are no longer a spectator – you have become part of the scene – you are literally a participant in the chaotic horror that is unfolding all around you at every turn. This place is definitely not for the faint of heart.
The bottom line is that, in 2005, ScreamWorld is:

After escaping this chamber of horrors, you’ll find yourself on this 100 foot bridge, and just when you think it is safe to go to your car ……..
This year, you may well leave ScreamWorld with a tag on your big toe.
