The Black Box provides Internet services at very affordable rates. Our services include:

The Black Box provides full Internet access, 100% V.90 or K56FLEX lines in Houston and Galveston with unlimited PPP, ISDN or shell access is $21.65 per month or $108.25 for 6 months, including tax.
We now have access points throughout the Houston (281 and 713) and Galveston (409) areas.
We can now sign you up while online. Simply click here and log on as guest if you wish to sign up with a credit card via our online signup. We can accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

PPP
PPP access is now available:
1. Dialin PPP for $20 per month, or $100 for 6 months, unlimited usage, no setup fee. You get POP mail, Usenet News through NNTP, and all lines are now 33600 baud and capable of 64000 baud ISDN for the same price.
2. Dedicated PPP, $150 per month, now with no setup fee! You get a registered domain name (web hosting), fixed IP address, 33600 baud modem, and UNLIMITED use, with no additional charges. 14400 baud lines are also available for available for $100.00 per month.
ISDN Pricing
In addition, ISDN access to the Internet is now available. There are four flavors of ISDN. There is NO setup fee. Add 8.25% tax to these numbers. Monthly charges are:
Type 1B (64kb) 2B (128kb)
Dialup $20 $40
Dedicated $150 $300
ISDN is available throughout the 281, 713 and 409 area codes.
ADSL Pricing
We begin offering ADSL connectivity immediately. For those of you who do not know what ADSL is, it is high speed, dedicated line service. The line costs $39 per month and is supplied by Southwestern Bell.Our Internet Service on the line will vary with the service level, starting
at $20 per month or $200 per year, for a 384kb to 1.5mb/128kb connection. What this means is that depending on your line, distance from the phone company, etc, your connection will be 384kb to 1.5mb toward you, and 128kb back. This connection gives you one static Internet address. More addresses are available with other pricing plans.
ADSL service is immediately available. You will need to have us order your ADSL line for you. If you order it yourself and have Southwestern Bell connect it to us, there is a $60 installation charge from us, so let us do it for you and it won't cost a thing. Southwestern Bell's install fee is $198, including the trip charge, splitter, ethernet card and ADSL modem.
ADSL is currently only available in the Houston area. Outlying areas and the rest of the US may be available in the future.
ADSL Summary:
a. Tell us 'We want ADSL. Here is our current ANALOG (not ISDN) phone number, and our address.' Email is fine, send it to adsl@blkbox.com
b. We will verify with the phone company that you qualify for ADSL and order your line for you. They will come to your location and install an ethernet card in your PC, a splitter on your phone line, and an ADSL modem on the ADSL line
c. Once your line is in, we will connect you to our router.
d. Start surfing at high speed!
