Engineer's review of a visit to the museum with his daughter.
|
Contains rocks and fossils that children can touch, IBM calculators and computers with games and puzzles for children, and animal and bird cases for viewing the native Texas species. A special area called Kidspace, designed for children six and under, lets kids experiment with physical science and dramatic play. The Busytown Exhibition, a temporary exhibit based on Richard Scarry's books, was an interactive science and math exhibit for children aged three through eight. The exhibit also guided parents to ask open-ended questions, avoid gender bias, and celebrate science to find out about the world.
