A non-denominational art museum displaying works of local and out of town artists.

Operated by the Miracle at Pentecost Foundation, the Biblical Arts Center is a non-profit, non-denominational organization founded by Dallas philanthropist Mattie Caruth Byrd. As a Christian and arts patroness, it was her dream that people of every faith have the opportunity to witness the Bible as it inspires mankind in the arts.
Some years ago, she conceived the idea for a religious center. It would be ecumenical - for all people of all faiths. Mrs. Byrd died in 1972. She did not live to see her Biblical Arts Center completed. She established the foundation that would provide land, buildings, and sustenance for a museum which would be perpetuated for future generations to enjoy.
