Located on the former XIT Ranch, headquartered in Dalhart and working to preserve the history of the Texas pioneer ranchers of the area.

The XIT Museum contains exhibits on the XIT Ranch and ranching equipment, wagons and several period rooms including a wedding Chapel. The museum also hosts changing exhibits on various collections of hats, guns, cameras and other historical items.
Our newly renovated Art Gallery features different artists exhibiting throughout the year. Extensive photographic and document archives, microfilm of newspapers dating to the late 1800's and various other records provide research information upon request.
